Here you will find my fictional stories told in three fantasy based worlds. Each world is based in a different sub-genre of fantasy. Below are links to an introduction for each world in their current formats. Under these links is a brief synopsis of the current storylines. Remember that these things may change and all changes will be noted in the General blog in From Our Perspective.

Descendants
Main Theme: High Fantasy
Current WIP: Descending Into Power
Kindred has been exiled by their people for being cursed with the ability to use magic but has little to no control of it. They now seek one of two things: someone to teach them control or someone to take away their power altogether.

Samriel and Syndriel are long-lived brothers who were separated by the holy war between Cres and the other Gods. One bound to Chaos, one bound to Order, both seeking redemption for the choices that separated them. Forced into frivolous fights by superiors who have grown fat on stolen power, the brothers have a rocky path ahead.

Myrandae’s people have been relegated to living in the desert. They are considered thieves and criminals, though the evidence to back up these claims is scarce. Their sun-bleached lands gave them little to offer the Gods in sacrifice and they were all but abandoned by the powers that be. Without intervention, this exile was a death sentence for her people. In desperation, she has chosen to break the greatest taboo and has reached out to the Forsaken Son.

Enlightened
Main Theme: Urban Fantasy
Current WIP: In the Name of Enlightenment
Niko’s life had never been an easy one, much of his youth spent living in broken homes or on the street, but he had adapted as best he could with the help of a kind woman named Cara. Everything he has gone through before will seem mundane when his path crosses with a mad man.

Dr. Anthony Watkins has always been seen as eccentric by his peers, his obsessive nature and questionable ethics making him an outcast in the scientific society. As a university student, Anthony made a curious discovery, an anomaly in the genetic code of some sentient beings and animals. Determined to find out the code’s purpose, he risks everything to get the funding he needs to obtain the answers he seeks.

Jakyl’s mind was a broken maze even before it was invaded by a vengeful entity with great power named Krystian who is using Jakyl’s uncontrolled magical abilities for his own twisted ends. Jakyl is helpless to stop the stronger willed monster inside of him as he rends the souls from those who have wronged Krystian in the past. His vendetta is interrupted when a bar brawl lands Jakyl in an mental institution for individuals with “aggressive delusions” run by a Dr. Corialis.

Vincent has displayed odd and sometimes frightening abilities since a young age, abilities he had little to no control over. His mother has done her very best to both protect her son from the world and the world from him. After a particularly public outburst, she has no choice but to send Vincent to an experimental program for children with “aggressive delusions” run by a Dr. Corialis.

Adapted
Main Theme: Dystopian Fantasy
Current WIP: Unseen Adaptations
Xamber, an orphaned young man with uncontrollable clairvoyance, foresees a great tragedy mere hours before his first day of class for the year. His vision has left him suspicious of the story being spread by the colony authorities, convinced there is a sinister plot behind the gruesome mass death. He drags his companions Maera, a young woman with an oddly calming presence, and Kolyver, a non-binary individual of massive proportions and a gentle demeanor, into his quest for the truth. Joined by Ryka, an odd individual with a penchant for conspiracies, and their pet snake Anak, the four teens are about to stumble on a secret greater than they could imagine.
